# The Green Pages Numbers site

> Green Pages Numbers has its own website at numbers.greenpages.app. It uses the same email address and password as Paige but a separate sign-in, shows the same numbers and payments, and is where you confirm a number you registered outside Paige.

[Green Pages Numbers](/guides/numbers) are also sold on their own website, [numbers.greenpages.app](https://numbers.greenpages.app). It is a Green Pages site, not part of the Paige dashboard, and it is there for people who want a WhatsApp-ready number without building a bot in Paige.

<Note>
  **If you use Paige, you never need this site.** Everything you need is in **Settings → Numbers** and **Settings → WhatsApp**. This page is here so you know what the site is when an email links to it, and what to do if you registered a number somewhere other than Paige.
</Note>

## One account, two sign-ins

The site uses the **same email address and password** as Paige. It is the same account, so the numbers and payments you see there are the same ones you see in **Settings → Numbers**.

Signing in is separate, though. Signing in to Paige does not sign you in to the Numbers site, and signing in to the Numbers site does not sign you in to Paige. You sign in to each one on its own.

* **Already have a Paige account?** Sign in on the Numbers site with the email address and password you use for Paige. You don't create a second account.
* **No account yet?** You can create one on the Numbers site with your name, email address and a password, and confirm your email address with the 6-digit code that is emailed to you. You can also continue with Google.
* **Sign out** is in the menu behind your picture or initials at the top right. There is no separate account page.

## What you see there

Before you sign in, the site shows what a number costs (**R90 a month**), how it works, and the numbers that are available.

Once you sign in, the home page has the same layout as **Settings → Numbers** in Paige, all on one page:

1. **The three setup steps**: accept the terms, your details, and verify your WhatsApp number.
2. **The numbers you can buy.** **Buy this number** stays greyed out until all three steps are done. **Ask about a number** is below the list if you need more numbers or a different one.
3. **Your numbers**, with your payments and invoices.

Buying a number and opening one of yours both happen on that same page.

## What is different from Paige

The site is built for someone who registers the number in their own WhatsApp Business account, or with another WhatsApp provider. So a few things work differently.

| | In Paige | On the Numbers site |
| - | - | - |
| **Opening a number** | **Manage** opens it in a popup | The number opens inside the list |
| **The registration code** | In **Settings → WhatsApp**, under the number | On the number itself, with the messages that have arrived for it |
| **Payments** | One list for all your numbers | Each number also shows its own payments |
| **Confirming a registration** | Paige does it for you when the number is connected | You click **I've registered this number** |

## Confirming a number you registered yourself

If you register a number outside Paige, nobody can see that it worked except you. So on the site you tell us: open the number and click **I've registered this number**, then confirm. That stops the 3 day countdown.

<Warning>
  Only confirm once WhatsApp has accepted the code and the number is working in WhatsApp Business. Confirming cannot be undone. If WhatsApp asked you to set a two-step PIN, write it down first. Nobody can recover it for you.
</Warning>

When WhatsApp sends its code to a number that is not connected to a Paige project, you get one email about 30 minutes later asking you to confirm, and reminders about 24 hours and about 6 hours before your time runs out. The button in each email opens the site at your numbers.

<Tip>
  Setting the number up in a Paige project? Don't confirm it on the site. Connect it in **Settings → WhatsApp** and Paige confirms the registration for you. See [Registering your number with WhatsApp Business](/guides/numbers#registering-your-number-with-whatsapp-business).
</Tip>

## What happens when a subscription ends

The rules are the same wherever you manage the number. Once a subscription has ended, the number is cancelled with the mobile network, and that cannot be undone.

* A number you **registered in your own WhatsApp Business account** keeps working in WhatsApp for as long as it stays registered there. It can never be verified again, so you cannot move it to another provider or recover a lost two-step PIN.
* A number **connected to a Paige project** is lost. WhatsApp on it can stop at any time and cannot be recovered.

See [What happens when a subscription ends](/guides/numbers#what-happens-when-a-subscription-ends) for cancelling, failed payments and **Pay now**.
